Empower your Wiki-knowledge: How to set up and use a WikiPage
  1. To start a wiki page please do the following:
  2. Go to our site: __http://integratingculture-at-nyu.wikispaces.com/__
  3. Go to the link near the top, left, corner where it says “New Page”
  4. You will get a page that says “Make a New Page”
  5. Come up with a group name and then type that in the “Page Name” box
    1. (You don’t have to worry about the “tags” box for now)
  6. Then click the “Create” button.
  7. Your page is created, but you have to type something on that page to make sure that the page is saved. You can just write the list of group member names if you want.
  8. Then click “Save”
  9. Congrats you have now created a page!
  10. Now that you have a page please copy the URL (The website page link) and send Cynthia and Edwin that link via email.
    1. An example of the URL is: http://integratingculture-at-nyu.wikispaces.com/Wiki+Page+Making
  11. Now that you have created your page, you have a “discussion” link. This discussion page, like our Wiki Discussions, will be the place where you have discussions. The person facilitating discussion should post the discussion questions as the first posting.
  12. You are now on your way.

Note: If you want to make any changes to your page (not the discussion) you can go back sign-on and then click “edit” (next to the picture of the pencil)
