Welcome to Our Multicultural Perspectives on Social Studying and Curriculum Design Wiki!
This is the group Wiki for NYU's Teaching and Learning Course, CHDED-UE 1142 - Integrated Curricula in Multicultural Education, Social Studies and Curriculum Design, Fall 2011. In addition, we will use this Wiki for our Spring 2011 Course: Integrating Curricula in Children's Literature, Arts and Technology. Our collaborative Wiki is our web page where we get input from our peers and learn together by posting questions, have discussions and share our thoughts based on the course readings and activities. Again, Wiki pages are for the entire cohort, unless specified that other pages have been set up for each Section, 001 and 002.
About Wikis
In case you are unfamiliar with Wikis, a wiki is a collaborative web page where multiple people can edit pages, and each change is recorded enabling collaboration across groups. Since all versions of all entries are saved, you can easily revert back to previous pages/versions to make additional changes, if necessary.
Getting Started
To begin our work, click on the assignment page Wiki Discussion 1 (or shown in the right column). Once there,
